What is the professional background for cybersecurity in the automotive industry?
What does it take to establish cybersecurity in the automotive sector? We have built up an interdisciplinary team for this purpose. Different disciplines paired with diverse professional experience. What drives us together is pioneering work in the field of automotive cybersecurity.
In addition to the advanced education offered by the CYRES Academy, in the area of consulting we develop cutting-edge cybersecurity concepts as well as reliable solutions for a wide range of components and systems. The way we work
In order to have enough space for our fast-growing teams as well as for our CYRES Academy studios, we moved to our new floors in the Highlight Towers building in Munich in 2021. From here we not only have the most stunning view over the metropolis of Munich to the Bavarian Alps, but we have also found a space that is perfect for our way of working.
Mutual help, lightning-fast communication and decision-making paths that are shorter than the walk to the new meeting rooms.
Because one thing is clear: pioneering work in a completely new discipline requires an open working culture in which new solutions and concepts can be developed quickly, farsightedly and at the same time highly professionally.

We are a cybersecurity consultancy for the automotive industry. We develop new cyber security concepts, support automotive development teams worldwide and establish organization-wide cyber security management systems.
In addition, we are building the CYRES Academy, a unique global training and education opportunity for automotive cybersecurity learning.
We consult leading manufacturers and suppliers of the automotive industry from all over the world. Our areas of responsibility vary.
In some projects we establish cybersecurity management systems at the organizational level, in others we work directly with development teams to implement cybersecurity in new technologies, such as LIDAR, camera and radar systems for autonomous driving functions.
With our consulting concept, we are able to do most of our project business from our offices in Munich (Germany) and Riga (Latvia). In contrast to the traditional consulting business, it is therefore not necessary for us to frequently travel to our clients’ premises.
With the new space on our floors in the Highlight Towers, we have created an extraordinary working atmosphere for our teams, in which spontaneous sharing of thoughts, quick help and joint conceptual work are accomplished very successfully, snack bar and beer fridge included, of course.
At our company, we encounter different cultures and nationalities, who communicate with each other in a mix of German and English. English dominates in the correspondence with our international clients, but a knowledge of German is helpful for smooth internal communication.
